Because of the Lord’s compassion and mercy, He wants to heal you. Just because Jesus has been exalted doesn’t mean He’s lost or modified His mercy. The Bible doesn’t teach that His mercy has been done away with or modified. Rather, the Bible teaches that God’s mercy has been increased. John 14:12 says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and GREATER WORKS than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”
Peter’s Shadow
Acts chapter 5 gives us an example of Jesus’ compassion being displayed in His present-day ministry. It’s another wonderful proof of Christ’s compassion toward the sick and another proof that He is the same now as He was when He was on the earth.
