I thank God for His word

and as we are expecting the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

One key word I believe should be the constant vocabulary of every Christian should be a revival, revival means the restoration of His glory.

LORD SHOW ME YOUR GLORY.

Many years ago, there was a war between the philistines and the Israelites.

The philistines defeated the Israelites and killed 4 thousand of them at the battle field.

When the soldiers returned to camp, the elders of elders of Israel asked why did the Lord bring defeat upon us today before the philistines.

Let us bring the Ark of the covenant of God from Shiloh so that it can go with us and save us from the hand of our enemies.

What am sharing with you is from 1sam. 4

is not actually my text, but I want to give it to you as a background for what we are talking about.

So, they sent men to Shiloh and brought back the Ark of the covenant of God almighty.

They went to the battle field with the Ark. The slaughter was very great

  • 30,000 soldiers.
  • The Ark was captured
  • Eli’s two sons were killed.

When the message came to

  • Israel was defeated
  • Your two sons died
  • The Ark has been carted by the philistines.

He died

The daughter in-law heard the same story

  • Israel was defeated
  • Your husband and his brother are dead
  • The Ark was carried
  • Your father in-law is dead.

Brethren the greatest problem of the 21st century church is I – CHABODISM

A departure of the glory of God

And we have answered so many names.

We have answered beautiful names

Well-articulated names.

A name with key word.

A name that will even make a headline on the newspaper.

But if you come to the inside it becomes a congregation of carcass.

These days we make noise but I know noise makers are not achievers.

There was a time the Lord wanted to pass,

There was an earthquake,

fire came, the Lord was not there.

Wind came, the lord was not there.

But in the still small voice

And the Lord was there

As we look at the present-day church,

We see tongues without anointing

people come to church without a touch

And that reminds me of a prayer that Moses made. Exodus 33 – 18

And that is my message.

Ezekiel said I saw the glory depart through the window.

Power is different from glory.

David said I have gone to the sanctuary that I might see thy POWER and GLORY.

GLORY – The overpowering presence of God. The presence of God in dynamic fashion.

I saw something in Moses.

He was unsatisfied,

I saw a vacuum in Moses’ heart.

Our problem today is premature satisfaction.

When the Lord uses us to cast out one-week demon,

we are already on top of the world, you say, yes I have arrived. Where you stop, God will stop there.

When you stop desiring God will also stop there.

There’s a heavy vacuum that cannot be occupied by any other thing.

A satisfied Christian will no longer see revival.

A satisfied church will no longer see revival.

God should revive and restore our spiritual appetite.

(ANY TIME LIFE IS A PICTURE OF CONTRADICTION, A MYSTERY)

The psalmist said, I shall be satisfied, when I awake in your likeness (The resurrection morning).

Psalm 42:1 & 2.

LET ME GO TO PAUL

The purific writer.

The most learned apostle.

He said

(That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; Phil 3:10)

I began to ask myself

Paul what do you want to know again

According to Acts 19:11 & 12.

God used Apostle Paul to do unprecedented miracles.

His handkerchief or aprons healed the sick.

John the Baptist said, I will decrease and he shall increase.

MAY GOD DELIVER US FROM PREMATURE SATISFACTION

(it removes GLORY, Then brings STORY)

ISA 6:1

There are two types of relationships

  • People who increase you
  • People who reduce you.

Isaiah got

  • A vision of God (1-4)
  • A vision of himself (5-7)
  • A vision of ministry (8)

I saw five stages in this chapter.

  • The revelation of God (1 & 2)
  • The realization of God’s Holiness (3 & 4)
  • Reconciliation of His own sinfulness (5)
  • Renewal of His perspective (6 & 7)
  • The response of His lifestyle (8)

God told Saul to destroy the Amalekites but he spared Agag the king.

When it was time for Samuel to kill Agag after God must have rejected Saul.

Agag made a comment, He said.

The bitterness of death is gone, if I will die now, let me die since I have succeeded in making God to reject Saul.

Finally, Exodus 34: 28 – 30.

I CARRY SOMETHING

THAT THE WORLD WILL TASTE OF IT

YOU ARE CREATED FOR THE PALACE

WHEN GOD’S FAVOUR COMES
IT REMOVES STORY
AND GIVES GLORY

THE ANOINTING TO PROSPER UNDER ANY CONDITION FALL ON YOU
